You don't have to be a Major Leaguer to get the big bucks. You don't even need to be an athlete.
All you need is a PS3 or an XBOX 360, a copy of MLB 2K10 (when it's released March 2) and be the first to pitch a perfect a game... and then you'll be a million dollars richer. A perfect game is the achievement where a pitcher throws for a full nine innings without the opponents reaching base, a feat which has only been recorded 18 times in Major League Baseball's 134 year history. Hoping to turn around the declining sales, the fiscally slumping franchise Take 2 is challenging gamers to throw a perfect game and the first one to do so wins a hefty purse as a prize: $1 Million.
There are few stipulations to get your money though:
1. You have to be signed in on-line during your efforts.
2. You have to be a US Citizen, but not live in certain states: Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, North Dakota or Vermont.
3. You must have a recording of your achievement and submit it to 2K Sports in between March 2 and May 2, 2010.
Submissions will be verified by the same company that officiates gaming statistics, Twin Galaxies International.
