I think the Violent Torpedo of Truth was a success!
I mean, what did these folks really expect? Was Charlie Sheen going to come out and do Hamlet? A comedy act or a warlock magic show? They paid $300 for tickets to see a guy that is on his descent to rock bottom! Hollywood doesn't just up and fire a "pivotal" actor from a top rated television show for the hell of it. There's got to be some reasoning behind it.
So, here is the Violent Torpedo of Truth... you fed Charlie Sheen's addiction to drugs and narcism by giving your money to fulfill your own voyeuristic fetish of celebrity. That's the Violent Torpedo of Truth... and it was successful.
